A distance learning librarian friend of mine has been doing some creative and beautiful book art or altered books and she is allowing me to share some photos of her work! (check out my recent post about Re:book for more ideas) She started using old book covers as the basic substrate and created these mixed media collages:
Includes background pages from a math book, a library card pocket w the tag with the little girl with a thesaurus background
another with a math page background and library card pocket to place the tag with the drawing of the Japanese woman
a pop up style with a window opening and book pages and micro
