A organization worth mentioning: the Global Footprint Network is a group of individuals, cities,  nations, businesses, scientists, NGO’s, academics, and worldwide partner organizations  (groups such as AASHE) who promote the use of the Ecological Footprint (a widely used data driven metric, resource accounting tool that measures how much of the biological capacity of the planet is required by a given human activity or population? — how much nature we have, how much we use, and who uses whatTheir goal is simply to apply it to practical projects and start global dialogues about a one-planet future and offer advice and ways to facilitate change.
